Satin is a weave style that can be made from polyester or nylon. Our pillowcases are 100% Pure Mulberry Silk — a natural protein fibre that is breathable, biodegradable, and proven to benefit skin and hair health. Satin cannot replicate these benefits.

Is 6A silk really better?
Yes — 6A is the highest purity grade of Mulberry Silk, with longer fibres that create a smoother, more lustrous and durable fabric. Most silk sold online is lower grade (3A or 4A). Sava Republic only uses 6A.
